Yeah I have to say while I don't think he sucks, I was never a fan of Christian Bale, but this film actually totally changed my mind about him. I am still so happy I saw it, seeing it again soon actually haha.

first off its imtimidating as hell. If Batman was asking you (a criminal) questions, would you lie to him, or be scared out of your mind???
second, its so its not Bruce Wayne talking in a bat suit. So no one can recognize him.

I understand this perfectly, but Bale overdid it. Ledger would pull me in with his incredibly intense scenes, and then Batman would open his mouth and I was back in the theater, just watching a movie. That was really the only gripe I had, but damn did I wince when it happened, especially at the end of the movie when he tried to sound winded.
