Everyone has had more sex than me

Well someone is going to tell you this so I might as well: you put "Diamond Darrel" in your now playing, and to my knowledge it's "Dimebag Darrel". Just a little mistake but I thought you should know.

Your right it does sound more respectful, I didn't know that, but i think the most respectful thing you could do was "Diamond" (or Dimebag) Darrel Abbott (not to be too criticizing, the last thing I want is some fight about this). Then it's his real name, but I didn't know about the Diamond thing, interesting....

it's all cool, man! metal community needs to be united, not divided in petty squabbles....which is in my opinion, why the metal community is so small compared to the pop or rap community....if you like one Pop artist, you will probably like a ton of them.....if you like one Metal artist, it may be the only artist that you find that plays that style....also, you are likely to mouth off about other metal bands that are different or less "musically talented" than your chosen artist.....hence the whole Megadeth/Metallica thing or the Symphony X/Rhapsody argument....

We should start a revolution in the metal community. Together we could unite everyone and start bringing in more and more people, but do we really want that? Is metal like that or is it designed so that people don't necessarily like everyband and every sub genre? Is this the place for people to go who don't want to like everything that everyone else likes, or does everyone here want to have their music be the mainstream? Who knows? These are some pretty deep questions for a "Everyone has had more sex than me" thread, but maybe it needs to be adressed.

yeah...you're right, becuase metal's most popular time period was largely due to "poppy" glam metal.....true "balls to the wall, uncompromising" metal has never been "popular"....and it will probably stay there....so maybe the metal community shouldn't be united...just don't complain when the best metal CD's sell under or around 100,000 copies due to there unpopularity in the mainstream....(as evidenced by the comeback album of the decade, "The System Has Failed" by Megadeth.....)

I don't know why so many metal fans are so set on trying to "spread the word."

The way I see it, the more people listen to shitty pop music, the more metal there is for me!
