Wouldn't the true opposite of "pro-life" be "pro-death" ?
No one advocates for 'killing babies', but to be able to make a decision on your own when and if needed.
No one in this world has or should have control over my body.
I am 100% pro-choice but "abortion" is such a tough subject with both sides of the argument equally horrible.

"Needed" being the keyword here. I'm for abortion in cases of rape, when the mother's life is in danger, or when the child is severely handicapped. Aborting a child because you were irresponsible or because it's not convenient doesn't constitute "needed" to me.

While i totally agree with your views on irresponsible people getting an abortion because its "convenient." i must say, I disagree with everything else you posted. Don't disrupt the natural process no matter what the cause was. Every conscious being has the right to live. Raped? adoption? when the mother's life is in danger? thats just a natural part of the birth-giving process is it not? countless women have died giving birth. something that sucks, but whatever. handicapped child? once again, every conscious being has the right to live, and with the right to live, comes the right to suffer. it sounds fucked up but, it has to be true. :Spin:

Jesus... I guess my whole idea of doing a parody song went out the window.

The intention wasn't to do a "WOOHOO I LOVE KILLING BABIES, SO FUCK THE PROLIFERS". The idea was to do something like "Spermination Masturbation" or something stupid... same vocal patterns, completely different lyrics.

I'm going to bed before I let the stress of my band's stupid CD cloud every bit of my brain and I start freaking out on everyone.

Yes yes, the human race of this day and age for the most part has completely disregarded the well being of the planet we live on in lieu of self gratification/and or entitlement rewards for being "baby factories" with little or no consequence other than ignorance and laziness. Some who see this as perfectly fine. I know many a person/couple who knowingly went out of their way to have children for comensation from state and government. Many if not most of these people do better than those who actually work for a living and attempt life by themselves.

I have no issues at all with early term abortions for those whom choose it, rather than raising a child into ignorance,poverty, or having to deal with the stress of an uncertain and unhappy childhood. Then again I have little sympathy for what the human race gets its self into anyway soo.... *shrug*

In all seriousness though, this isn't something I go around posting on tons of forums, but I feel for the conversation, it is appropriate: Right around the time Obsidian Conspiracy came out, I had to make that awful choice. The hardest decision of my entire life up till this point (I'm only 24). But I had to think long and hard about it. It is something I hoped to have to never do and something I will now never forget. Reading the lyric book that day I picked up the CD crushed me...I'm glad I didn't bring this up last week when you played Worcester MA and we were hanging at the bar. I was tanked enough that I was simply in fanboy mode haha...
