Haha, you rest assured that when you love someone, you won't care about 'what it does to her'.Hahaha, good point Stormo. I make it a point to tell any girl I'm with about this weird way of thinking, they usually think it's funny. Rest assured if I did get a gal pregnant I'd be there 100%, but I'd hate the sight of what it did to her.
Then your comment of 'deciding what to do with yourself' doesn't apply here, because it's not about yourself - it's about the child you abort. You're not making a decision for yourself only, you're making it for two people, one of whom can't express what (s)he wants.Yes, I took that into consideration as I typed my ideas out.
Jayme pointed out what I think might be a major factor leading to many teens having to resort to the procedure: poor information management about protection amongst people of age- this in spite of the fact that there are many school programs out there doing just that(mostly referring to Europe and the US).
But see, there's the thing. You're deciding for yourself, but not just for yourself. You're making the decision for that little guy inside you too. It's not just being allowed to do what you want to your body, I think everyone agrees that that should be allowed. It's the moral gray area concerning when a foetus becomes a living being that makes it so difficult.

Again, abortion in case of rape, danger to the mother, or severe handicap, yes. Abortion because it's inconvenient or because you consider it a form of birth control is selfish and morally despicable.
and I am my very own 'god', and if I got pregnant tomorrow, guess what? It's inconvenience to me, and it is gone gone gone!
Not saying I don't want kids one day, of course I do! I am more open to having them nowadays than before, but in my own terms and my own timing.
Because it renders your comment void. Why post the same thing twice? I understood what you meant the first time, I really did.
No, no, that's a general "you", not pertaining to your person specifically.Which part of my post, if any, led you to make this comment ? I fail to see it. Unless you're using the generic 'you' and simply adding your own input.
