Expanding Digi002: Digimax D8 Vs. Octopre

Both have ADAT / BNC wordclock, i suppose it's really a matter of preamps / conversion comparison. Is the octopre LE (with adat card) worth the extra couple hundo?? Maybe another option besides the two?? Will I be kicking myself with regret if I go with the digimax, and does the octopre sound WORLDS better or just barely noticable??

Probably not alot of difference in it really. Most preamps in this price bracket are basically just quiet and clean without any discernible character.

Plenty of people here doing good recordings with both, so I'd just go for the cheaper option.
