I was wondering if anyone could recommend some extreme metal bands, particularly in the black/post-black or extreme progressive genres, that utilize a good bit of melodic violin. A couple of examples that I'm already into are Panopticon and Ne Obliviscaris. I'm not really looking for the folky fiddle type stuff, and I'm aware of plenty of gothic/doom bands that use the instrument, so I don't really need suggestions in that style. Any recommendations?
