F Zero X Style Lead Tone?

So I loved the music on f zero x as a kid and now I need to try and get my guitar close to that sound. I've had very little success with harmonic generators, chorus and flange. Does anyone have any ideas?

To me, the lead guitar sounds programmed and reminds me of the guitar preset of the keyboard. If you want that sound, take a cheap keyboard/synthesizer, search for the overdrive guitar - voice, play the keyboard. There you have it
