family tree/crest/coat of arms search

Yeah some things I have read have said Forster is fairly recently derived from Forrestor (not really recent, but long after the dark ages etc), but other things say it has been around for much longer in Northumberland (which I mentioned earlier). Probably still hasn't been around as Forrestor either way, so it probably did come from that, perhaps even at different times.

I think both my names may be descended from landholders - Hamilton on my father's side and Crompton, my mother's maiden name. I'm sure my grandmothers would love to muse on that fact.

Actually, according to the link that Terry posted, the first Hamiltons were Scottish nobility granted land by Robert the Bruce; my ex-boyfriend can trace his ancestry back to Robert the Bruce. So his family created mine. Woo. :p
Part of my family goes back to Mary queen of Scotts!

This is weird shit. Finding Forrester was on the other night. And now you are searching for him yourself!?

Are you sure that you arn't a 16 year old black fella from the Ghetto who would certainly go far in life if given the opportunity, and guidence from an old cancer ridden Scottish author?

Your secret is safe with me superman
