Favorite Beer?

I don't have a clue, there are so many good beers here...I live in Belgium you see. We have Jupiler, Hoegaarden, Maes,...they all taste 10 times better than the foreign beers I have tasted. We also have about 500 other beers but they aren't very famous, but sometimes they are very good. Lots of small brewerys around here.

If I must say one beer:Jupiler, tastes good and it's pretty cheap :)

Well, a beer is a beer, that's correct :D
But some are less awful than others... :p
The best we have here is "Becks" I'd say...
But the best about beer is tha social aspect... You can drink, don't get drunk quickly and have some nice time... Although I wouldn't say drining makes feel good, it's rather the opposite these days...

Ehhh...
A beer is a beer... :D
But a Jever... that's different...
Jever is AWFUL!
I can't drink that...

lol, there you have it...beer is just like music, tastes can be totally different. Beck's and Jever seem to be the total opposite of each other because Beck's is one of the few brands that *I* can't stand :puke:

Prost ;)

Yeah, Warsteiner rewlz. It's the second best right after Jever.
The danish 'Faxe' is not bad as well. Especially those funny 1.0l cans rock.

hehe those "Faxe" 1.0l Cans rewl, that's right :)
But I can't drink that stuff purely, I used to mix it with Coke 1:1 which tastes really fine :)

Well, there are so many different beers and so on........

But, I like Sandels, Karhu, Karjala. And from the foreign ones the best is Monty Python's Holy Grail! "Tempered over burning witches" or how did it go.. Well, anyway it's a good beer, but here it costs about 2.5 times the regular finnish beers price, so I have only bought one bottle of Monty. But it kicked ass.

And I must mention that the best IV A beer I've tasted is definitely Karjala. And the best IV B is probably Olvi Dobbelpock.
It's funny how I like Olvi Dobbelpock but I can't stand the regular Olvi CXX.

Well, maybe this post went a little too far..

I don't think that the best representation for German beer is Jever or Faxe:puke:

Real Bavarian beer is and stays the one with the best quality. Monks introduced making beer in the 10th century, I think, and Augustiner Bräu is still the oldest brewery in Munich, founded in 1294. If you have never tasted it, you do not know, that beer is kind of a meal in bavaria.

Jed'n Dog a Hoibe gäht oiweil!
(Every day one bottle is nothing but good for you ;) )
