I played the hell of this album during the last week, and all nine tracks are great really (even Harvester of Sorrow which seems to be the least favored by many), but Blackened stands out. Their tightest album, imo.Also, I think Hetfield really shines on this album; it's probably his best vocal performance, at least my favorite by far.

When I was first getting into metal this song kinda scared me. It was heavy and evil...now that seems laughable, but I still like it.
