Eye of the Beholder was always one of my favorites as well, *the* favorite for a period of my childhood (though my first favorite was To Live is to Die/Dyer's Eve (for some reason as a kid I thought the former was a massive intro to the latter)). I used to think maybe I overrated it a bit, there's an extra nostalgic attachment of Michael Savage using it as bumper music (damn straight it's all-American), but every time I go back to it the song it holds up.

The Shortest Straw + Harvester of Sorrow are the obvious weak points to me. After that I voted for One mostly just because I'm so overexposed to it it does nothing for me.

That video reminds me that I recently saw some 80s/early 90s European porno where they fuck horseback and at the end some of his skeet ends up on the pony's coat.

personally my idea of romance involves candlelit dinners, going to the movies, vegetable war veterans screaming in horror, walks on the beach, etc

i'm not really arguing because it was just a junk post by myself but, we all know the 4th song since RtL was the ballad right?

Personally, I find The Shortest Straw as the only weak link here. Harvester of Sorrow is mediocre but not that tedious and tiring as the former.

Yeah, Harvester is still a very good song. Loses a little bit for retreading some of TTTSNB's ground, and I'll admit that I thought it was a drag when I first heard it, but that ultra-chuggy brooding maliciousness really works when in the mood, some of Hetfield's meanest vocals too.
