Favorite song off of And Justice For All

Hmm well I wasn't really thinking so I voted Harvester of Sorrow, but actually One is my favorite on that album. It's a fucking great song, and one of my favorite Metallica songs in gerneral. Harvester of Sorrow comes in second though

I'm the same way. I like every song on the album, except for maybe Eye of the Beholder.

I disagree. It's their heaviest and darkest album. The black album was the beginning of the end.

I don't know if I'd call it their darkest. I thought it was a catchy but rather mechanical-sounding album. I certainly wouldn't call it "the beginning of the end" for metallica, though.

I can see why many people don't like And Justice for All(not taking into account the production argument, that is, which is a non-issue, in my opinion; just crank it up loud);However, a slight compromise in style has definitely taken place on this album .

Still, not the beginning of the end-aaah, exclamation-worthy, imo. Far from it.

id happily call this their darkest and best album except that nearly every time the power builds it disintegrates - ajfa is a mess pure and simple. lots of great shit bogged down by the boring/superfluous parts surrounding it. that said, blackened is the best song on the album, no contest.

also harvester of sorrow and to live is to die are powerless trash, whilst the title track is only good when there's vocals.
