Oh, btw, if you fuckers in NY want, in July, THE greatest Beer Festival in USA is going on @ Ommegang Brewery in Cooperstown. I 'm going up with a few beerguys and am meeting Gugs there too.

I am definitely going to try to goto that! It seems really awesome from what i've read.

that would be cool. i'm pretty much under the influence of cannabinoids 100% of the time, so i can assure you that its possible.

.

and it is still easy as fuck to pull off ace grades in university, hold down a bit of a social/romantic life, a job, spend time with family, waste lots of money on music, etc.

My old anatomy instructor said that abdominal distension ala beer gut is due... B, overinflation of the stomach (drinking a shitload of beer for example) from being over-filled.

That's the thing -- if I drink a pepsi, I'll have one. With beer, I don't stop at one. I also don't understand why anyone would go to a bar and nurse one drink all night long. To me, drinking serves a purpose of essentially getting buzzed. If it's good beer then even better.

Age plays a factor too

Definitely. When I was around 21, I was drinking like a fish and eating junk food all the time. (College diet). I really only started putting on weight when I turned 28.

That was also the same age I moved to the USA. Oh wait....damn, those American-sized portions! :goggly:

Only in america can one become grossly fat, yet be medically malnourished. We are the masters.

I actually was a chubster most of my young life. It wasn't until I hit about 25/26 that I started seriously improving my health, dropped a good thirty pounds etc. Ironically I started drinking a hell of a lot more then, too.

it's true. i'm glad you're a brother in the art.

Keelyey, as for the Noltem music:

over my winter break I recorded some neat segments on my six-track. they're pretty much sitting there unedited, but I'm going home this weekend and also for an additional 10 days starting on the 23rd. hopefully this will be the REAL last studio session on my part. i won't say shit, but this is as far as i've gotten since i started waaaay back.

we'll see. it's interesting stuff, really doesn't sound like hymn of the wood at all...
