please elaborate on these releases... I'm especially interested in Klimt
Sure thing..sorry it's been a few weeks..I go through phases on this forum..sometimes I'm here a lot..then I'll not have time/forget to come back for a few weeks.
Klimt 1918 - DOPOGUERRA
Great melodic..Catchy 80's New Wave/Prog Metal I suppose. The whole album flows perfectly. One comparison was Katatonia but liter..hmm..maybe in some ways. I'd take a listen
http://www.myspace.com'klimt1918 and thankfully The End Records has this guy for a reasonable price. back in December when I got it, the best price was ebay for $18..Amazon it was like $35.
Of The Hour - ENTROPY
hmm..Alternative with ProgRock tendencies without the long phrasings and tons of technical parts that ProgRock often has. Like Klimt and some others..the Dredg fans forum introduced me to these guys.

Aviatic - ARRIVAL
Great..catchy, piano-driven rock. Not sure how else to describe it..maybe like Elton John but a little proggier.

Oceansize - EVERYONE INTO POSITION
Great, heavy, layered disc. They hint at a lot of influences..industrial and psychadelic esp. Some of this reminds me of Pain of Salvation actually. Veryover the top emotional vocals. The fact they opened for Porcupine Tree and toured with Pure Reason Revolution doesn't hurt in my case. I actually recently have acquired their last album too, EFFLORESCE and am diggin g that a lot too.
Kaddisfly - BUY OUR INTENTION, WE'LL BUY YOU A UNICORN
This is like a marathon of subtle proggy moments with Modern Rock writing style I guess. I find that this album there are tons of different kinds of songs..some ballads..some heavier..some more ambient..they add certain parts..vocal-styles. The vocals might remind you at times of Incubus. One Dredg fan had this as his album of the year so I figd I'd give it a shot..glad I did.

Mute Math - RESET EP
This band are awesome!..this EP..is almost too short..the 1st 2 tracks totally get you groovin. If you get the chance to see MuteMath live..DON'T MISS THEM. Lovin this band. Singer= like STing from his Police days. Spacey..ambient..rockin..drummer is very tight. Check them out on myspace:
http://www.myspace.com/mutemath Their Self-titled full length that came out earlier this year is more of the same..better in some ways..great great stuff.
Matisyahu - LIVE AT STUBBS
Great live album. Reggae-Hip Hop-Metal..sort of..very unique blend of styles. KING WITHOUT A CROWN is my favorite track.
Solarcade - ALIENS AND ANGELS
spacey guitars..next to nobody knows this band, I only do since they approached me on myspace. Singer is not like too many..maybe a tad like the singer from The Tea Party.
