Hello everyone. I need some light and advice. I love mixing metal songs but not a purely commercial level, just for personal satisfaction. I am aware that from the beginning, I have done wrong things (especially when not using references). But now I'm frustrated, I go along. I'm stuck.
These last days I tried, along with Ermz guide and Feared DVD approach a similar mix level, but no way. Do not know what I'm specifically doing wrong. I'm not asking you to teach me to mix, just tell me where I make the mistake and how to fix it. I'm using spectrum analyzers, I'm using the ear (of course), but does not sound like it.
I am going to put steams mixed by Ola (my volumes):

My chain: the guitars are Lasse's Kemper Rectifier, and the bass is Bassgrinder. The drums is SSD4.
