feedback @what was your solo thread--second edition

here´s no. 10 -
i have to say that there were some really great solos.
i was also impressed by the sound quality of some entries -
so perhaps everyone can tell us what recording gear he´s using and someone can tell us some little recording tricks -
my solo attempt was also one of my first recordings so i hope the sound of my next solos will improve a bit
here´s my setup: Caparison Horus goes into Digitech 2112 preamp goes into Tascam us122 goes into Cubase le (i own also the sx version but i want to start learning the basics)

and now i´d like to hear the new backing tracks :headbang:

I actually have my backing track ready for the 3rd solo comp, but I'm not sure whether it's cool by Steve if I posted it yet so...

Gear chain wise... really bare bones, cheap, home guitarist shit haha.

Schecter C-7 Hellraiser > Boss ME-50 > Sb Audigy 2 Line in > Cubase SX 3 > Guitar Suite

Reverb and delay added in Cubase.

(Entry #1)

Mine is ready to rock aswell!

I used my 'parts mutt' usa jackson strathead neck/mahogany archtop body custom I made (custom/fullshred), for the backing track I used my jackson slsmg flametop (dimebucker/jazz, soon to be emg85/89).

They go through the wah (db01) and whammy (wh1) into my v-amp pro, spdif's out to my audigy 2zs plat pro box. Then its all 1's n 0's in software programs!

Jackson Stars semi custom Rhoads (based on RRJ1B) into POD 2.0, via audio Y-cable into AC97 onboard soundcard. Cool Edit Pro for tracking.

I'm still waiting for my Digi 001 to arrive, ebay seller seems pretty slow... :(

And Moonlapse, your bare bones, cheap, homeguitarist shit sounded pretty awesome to me. ;)

Ooops! I'm late a little  Mine was no. IV... somebody voted for my solo and it wasn't me :) It was hard for me to choose only one... 1,6,7,11 was great, but I finally voted for bibz solo :) Congrats Moonlapse and bibz!
