I noticed that one of the posters on the Sonata Arctica forum was listening to Lady of the Snow the other day, and there's another girl who posts there who I know likes SX.

I don't know any females who say they are prog fans, and I've only managed to get a few girls to like some of Dream Theater's songs (probably they've been indoctrinated :devil: ) Apart from that, they don't seem to like Symphony X.

Well, are there many of you female SX fans here?

I am a female, love prog metal and... already engaged! LOL! :lol:
Hahah! ;) no really, i am a hardcore SymphonyX supporter, don't like DT tho, so you can't say i was *indoctrinated* by anyone hehe ;)
I also like many other metal genres, from Heavy to Power (but not exagerating) to Neoclassic; i'm starting to listen some Melodic Black stuff also but my fav genre is and will remain definetly prog metal, and my number one band obviously SymphonyX! :worship:
For some of the other bands i like i already made a list in one of the old threads :)

U crazy dude, of course if you will keep looking, you will find someone... i saw a lot of girls at the SyX concerts i went to ;)
Or you can find one that already likes DT because now it's kinda fashion (at least here... i even saw discoteque people at the DT concert last february) and BRAINWASH her to make her enjoy SymphonyX as well!!! hehehe!!! :devil:

The name's Lady Of The Snow.

Obviously I am female, seriously love the X since 1995. Seen them live already in 2000.
I have a wide musical taste. I mainly love Prog, Metal, AOR, Glam and Trash and guitarists.
There are so many bands (from various genres I like), I could post them here, but the list would get very long. Stopped counting concerts I went to at about 1,600 (that was years ago). Started at age 14. Have played drums for 8 years.

Some of my fave bands: SX, RUSH, DT, Testament, Meliah Rage, Machine Head, Pantera, Metal Church, Evergrey, Cairo, TNT, Triumph, Kansas, Yes, Marillion, Fate's Warning, Judas Priest, RJD, Conception, Kamelot, Majestic, Magellan, Vital Information, Psychotic Waltz, Threshold, Watchtower, Nevermore, Crimson Glory, Creed, Sevendust, Disturbed, The Tea Party, Stabbing Westward, Nine Inch Nails.............

I am very picky with music. Love going to concerts (will see RJD Sept. 11 and Star One Sept 30, DT Oct 29 next)

What else? :)

Yup i like them very much and also saw them this year in concert... too bad DT only left them half hour to perform grrr! :(
Anyways i have all their albums except Entropia which i couldnt find in my local CD shops, i only got some MP3s from it.
