Recent movies that I think everyone should see are Collateral(Tom Cruise). I dont love Tom Cruise, but this is a winner movie. Also, Finding Neverland with Johnny Depp. Finding Neverland is an excellent movie about finding your imagination, in this case it is the story of how the inspirations for the Peter Pan plays came about, it is actually a very good movie, it's not for kids as some of you might think at first.

there should be (i think) a hongkong legends release of ong bak out pretty soon, if I remember right. yeah I know it ain't quite fitting since it's a thaimovie but anyway... I've seen the unsubbed thai dvd and it was quite a ride ofcourse I'd love to see it with english subs as well, eh.
(or maybe it was to be included in Universal's Asian Vision -series, can't recall anymore...)

I have a couple of years ago. Horrible waste of selluloid. Pretentious and tabloid headlines -seeking piece of shit. If it hadn't cast two females on top bill, you would've only caught that on some movie stations (tv1000 or canal+) late at night at some scandalous sleeze porn slot. Terrible acting, cinematography I could've done better and a non-existing plot.

who would've thought a film about two females killing men could actually suck bad?

watched Memories of Murder the other day. Pretty damn good Korean film about these murders commited in -86 or so. Some powerful use of music and images and the story was interesting as well. only complain I could think of might be the lack of deep enough main characters (or their development), but that is only minor afterall. Good atmosphere, sad, interesting, sometimes funny as hell and sometimes quite disturbing (not in a gory way tho).
