See with the 6505 and ENGL Fireball (The two i am looking at)...

If i take these amps to mainland europe, (or in the case of ENGL, order from Germany), will these run fine with a UK plug or do i need to get the transformer modded?

If that is making sense?

Ah, yeah i think brett answered my question.

I know about the different plug shapes, obviously, i just mean, if i punt a UK power chord in will ti blow the amp up???

Well, is the power chord detatchable?

If so, i have countless rear mounted powercables for this.

Does anyone have a photo of the back of the Fireball and 6505?

Checking the manual, it shows the same type of cable my Marshall/PC power supply runs off of.

I have literally tons of these cables so if UK/Europe is 220v

So, if i have a UK plug that fits this:

Ideally, it should just be a straight swap out of cable then rather than modding the transformer if we(UK/europe) are 220-240v???

Sorry for amateur question!

Gav.....I buy gear from the continent all the time and have no issues. These muppets use UK plugs here too...

You can either get adapters (ebay) or use an existing cable. I have an EU power supply for my rack as most of that stuff was bought from Thomann, then just run that into an adapter and surge protector (optional in this case, but mandatory for other reasons) before the wall socket.
