Finally an announcement...though not what I wanted to hear

Well, as an active member of the board, I have to throw my 2 cents in regardless that it's already a 4 page post of talking in circles (will never get it straight).

I've never really been pro or anti reunion per se, I've just always been pro-Anthrax. Although, I have to admit, my first reaction to this was giddy excitment at the thought of John coming back.

I pray for a WHCFYA follow up!!!!

The ball is in John's court I guess.. I mean, what are the options?
Get John (Reunion II fever!!)
Get "some other guy" (Suicide)
Break up (WE DO NOT WANT THAT!)

Everybody, call John Bush!!

I'm off to the Milano board to see him gloat and get a good giggle.

Break up would be best!!! Start a new project under a new name!! or just retire from the music bizz and get fat!!

John and Rob would be best, not a breakup! 2nd best would be John without Rob (I love Rob with Anthrax, but there was a John Bush era Anthrax before he was in the band). A breakup would be preferable to a new singer though, unfortunatly. John rules.

While I am really hoping that John Bush comes back for the next album you have to give Joey Belladonna much respect for the enthusiasm he brought to the reunion and for the respect he gave the Anthrax fans and the balls to walk away while there was still money to be made.

I thank you for admitting that all of these "predictions" were nothing more than guesses. That was my point.
Having said that, deep down, I always believed that this would happen. I tried to stay positive about it and I really hoped for a new album with Belladonna, but I never really thought it would happen. It's a shame though, it could have been something special.

Or could have been totally shit. The way forward for Anthrax is now. Get John back, and release a WCFYA II. It makes sense. I was into the reunion at the start, but going back in time was never gonna be a way of progression, no matter how you dressed it up.

Geez, way to sound bitter. I was being serious. Why is it John would be balless to come back but Joey wasn't?

As far as getting my band back I don't think you have a clue who you are talking to. I've always said that I prefered Bush but I gaave Joey more than a fair chance. I saw the reunion show twice, I had a good time both times, have stated many times he's a good singer, and a good frontman. The only things I've ever said bad about the guy is that his hair is funny as all get out, it was and still is.

I don't deserve respect from Anthrax, but admit it, they have dragged us through all this "Reunion" shit, and we have (for the most part) all been there for them, and they haven't always been there with answers, I don't give a fuck what you write, we ultimately support their "Lifestyle" buying cd's, buying concert tix, ect, I DON'T DESERVE anything from Anthrax, except for a little respect, and none of us have gotten that, in a long while. Say what you will.

Scott and charlie were in this for the money, Nothing more, If john had even any sense at all he won't come back to nu-thrax. Stay in Armored Saint and actually show some pride. But anyways, Fuck Anthrax now. I won't be listening to their new shit and I wont pay a penny for anything they put out, I'll bet most of the true old school fans would agree.
