yeah, as some of you might recall I hated all the bare knuckles I've ever tried....so I banned my BKP to the guitars I never play anyways (like ibanez gutars etc ;) )....
now I decided I need a passive backup guitar for live and since I had an aftermath lying about I figured I'd give it another shot...mainly because the axe is so old and battle worn that the pickup matched it quite nicely (visually).
turns out it sounds actually really good in this guitar!
Still not as nice as an EMG but really good nonetheless.

the guitar is an old San Dimans era RR1 with loads of scars (you can't really see them on the pics, but believe me, they're massive..deep into the wood...many of them just colore dwith a blue magic marker, lol.)

nice! i know what youre saying man, some things just match and then the magic happens! Its like my yjm fender and marshall head => i was playing them the otrher day i figured especially since i am spending most of my time with higher gain heads, it would be nice to listen to that combination which pretty much translates all the subtleties of your playing into the cab. so anyway i was just saying its always nice to find that combination of things
