No bass, but i did one or two bass parts with guitar and they sound alright..
It's not perfect of course, still sounds a little empty at spots. But Im proud of it.... i need vocals on it now.... id do em but i might scare people in the dorms... if anyone can do vocals like aaron feel free to record em...
Also if anyone wants to do bass for it feel free to... (its in drop B tuning)
Hey nice work, its actually quite close to the original! I think in terms of guitar work its spot on, it does sound empty in places but as u said thats due to the lack of bass and the synthetic sound of the drum machine. I would help out but I just got rid of my bass and I can't do vocals for shit (i'm working on that though), I'm more of a drummer, well a drummer in training anyways.
Must feel pretty good to tab + record your own version of a favourite song, now all you need to do is take that talent and write your own killer material, then you'll be set
yeah ive recorded some of my own shit actually, but nothing ive worked tooo hard on. i usually just start recording without anything in mind and ideas just come up and then i suddenly have a song. i need to actually start writing some shit out though and make some stuff im really proud of. i just really like recording, its very fun.
and hey if you wanna do some real drums for it, i could send you the the song without drums, the fake drums bother me
