It's very rare to get a snow that lasts longer than a week or so here. The midwest in America is like a constant rollercoaster as far as weather goes. It could be 80 degrees one week in January and -20 the next. Because of all those changes we get a lot of wind . . . which sucks.

We got ours towards the end of last month. Made me happy to get to see the first snow before I had to go spend two weeks in that craphole Fort Worth. It didn't stick around too long though and we've had a mix of rain and mild snow since then.
