So, I finally went through and mic'd up an amp. No virtual crap, just my amp, an AKG D 1000E mic with an SM 58 capsule, and some EQ.
Here's what I got:

It's a lot clearer than anything I've been able to get with a VST amp sim, and I'm really happy with the results... but that doesn't mean there isn't any room for improvement. What ya'll think?
Edit: Gotta say, guitars sounded better on the studio monitors. Oh well, I'll drop some more bottom end on the tone when I'm in the studio again. Or maybe some bass guitar will fill it out enough?
