First time you saw TestAmenT ?

The first time I saw TESTAMENT was at a small club in Rhode Island, USA called Babyhead. It was for the "Ritual" tour... I think PRO PAIN was playing and someone else but I can´t think of who right now.

Club Babyhead, theres a name I have not heard in some time. First time I saw Testament them was around 87 or 88 at The Livingroom in Providence, RI.

Damnit, I live in Maryland, and its a shithole. The only band to have come here recently is Slipknot on the Pledge Tour. The closest I've seen is Iced Earth and Skinlab went to Philadelphia recently.

Hey Angelwitch73 and Warcorpse. I am from Rhode Island.
Violence and Testament played The Living Room 14 years ago tonight! July 6th 1988 (It was the first night of the tour.)
and yes those WERE the days!
The "club babyhead" Testament show you are referring to was on May 3rd, 1993
(I have always kept a list of everything)

Wow.. that´s cool that you can remember all that. I was too much into Partying my ass off back then.. Hahaha..

I still remember that show at Babyhead very well though. I had recovered from my "partying" by the time they came on stage. I think PRO PAIN opened up for them. Too bad that place (Babyhead) went under and became a dance club (called Hell I think).

Tucson Az, 1987.

One opening band, can't fricken remember the name of them though, lasted about 2 hrs. This was the concert I mentioned sometime back where Chuck helped this one dumbass Mo Fo back into the crowd after security kicked him out for hanging on the lights...

Does anyone here know if TESTAMENT toured the US for the 1st album? If so does anyone know who they were touring WITH?
Any dates, info would be appreciated. I didnt seem them until The New Order tour in 88 and Ive been trying to figure out if they ever played MA and / or RI for the 1st album, thanks.

First time I actually got to see testament was metalfest in San Bernadino......

The fucking security cut their sound down and turned the lights on them early because they wanted to go home........those mother fuckers.

HUNGER OF THE UNDEAD

I must have seen 15+ shows at the livingroom, DRI,MOD,Nuc Assault,Vio-lence,Trouble,Coroner,Kreator,Holy Terror,Sepultura,
Obituary,Sacred Reich,Bad Brains,Dark Angel,Testament...I also saw Slayer for the 'World Sacrifice tour' at the Veteran's Hall or something like that in Providence. The Livingroom was cool, big bubble window, plenty of room outside to hang out between sets. Great pits too!

Hey WARCORPSE,
yes the Living Room was 'THE' best club in New England for many years. EVERYONE played there (well, aside from Metallica that is) including VENOM on their short "7 dates of hell tour" in April of 86.
Even Mercyful Fate played there on the Oath tour in 84!
Slayer played there 2x (86 and 90)
Every time bands like DRI or Exodus come through they still mention the Living Room.
The show you saw on the South tour was at the Veteran's Memorial Auditorium 10/88.
Will you be coming to the Kreator / Destruction show in Attleborro, MA? There's no CT or RI shows (bummer)
Ive been trying to get one in Providence, so far no luck.

Saw Testament at Harpos in Detroit, and they were with Gwar, not bad show, a crusher pit though.
Saw Testament at st. Andrews hall also not bad, still not the best band I had ever seen though.

HUNGER OF THE UNDEAD,

no, I probably won't get to see Kreator/Destruction. I have not been to as many shows since the great '80s, mostly I have seen death metal bands since then. The last show I saw was Nile/Morbid Angel for Nile's 'Amongst the Catacombs..' tour, (at toad's Place) New Haven , CT.

WARCORPSE,
Kreator / Destruction is a Saturday night at Jarrods in Attleborro, Im not sure how far of a drive that is for you, but its no more than 30 min. North of Providence if that helps you figure it out.
I saw Destruction summer of 2000 and they put on two of the best thrash shows Ive ever seen. Plus with Kreator this is going to be one for the record books, hope youll be able to make it!

Hunger of the undead,

I live in south western CT now so its probably 3+ hours.
Maybe 'The Chance - Poughkeepsie,N.Y.' (09/15)
