I'm just curious about everyone's opinion on this album..I bought it on cassette in 1990.When I first listened to it,I couldn't belive it was Anthrax.14 years later I bought it on cd..I don't think the music is bad..I don't mind Turbin's vocals too much, but his high pitched wailings are sometimes a bit too much.I can't wait to hear Bush tackling "Deathrider" and "Anthrax" on MMA..what does everyone one else think of this album?

Not that great of an album in my opinion, but still a classic.
At one time I really dug it, but the band has just gotten so much better.
Agree with you totally dude,I'm just curious on everyones thoughts on this album...this one doesn't get discussed too much on the board it seems...

I like it, its just nice to see how much different Neil is to Joey and Joey is to John. the songs on it are classic, but i dont listen to it a whole lot. but next thing i know thats what i'll be playing forur or five times over till i think of something else.

I love it. The first time I heard it I was blown away. I heard it a couple months after I just heard Kill Em All for the first time. I was hooked. Metal Thrashing Mad blew me away, and their version of Eighteen, well I have never liked a band more than Anthrax.

Pretty good for the year it was released. They were all very young guys not to mention. It must have kicked everyone´s fucking ass back in the day.

It's kind of neat to check it out once in a while, just to see where the band started out at. They've come so far.
Compare any Bush era album to that album. It's like the band is in a different stratosphere now.
