South of heaven
i tried out a whole bunch of guitars at the shop the other day and chose which one i was gettin for christmas (its the LTD MH-250 and it is actually the nicest thing ive ever played... seriously, i had no idea what the price of it was and was very surprised by how cheap it was compared to others that are worse than it) and i was wondering if you could like all give me like a tutorial on tuning it and stuff

Im getting the same guitar for Xmas xD:goggly:

I would seriously advice you to talk to the guys down at the shop. Learning by a tutorial page from the internet isn't the best way to get started(even though it's correct and all).

For your own sake, don't get the MH-250... Agathis body :erk::yuk::Puke:

It all depends on your preference, really. The MH-400 has a mahogany body so you have the warm tone, and the maple top adds a bit of clarity to it.. It's also arch-top (Idon't like these but whatever, preference)

The M-400 on the other hand has an alder body, it's great for an all around good tone without being too heavy, it's also solid top (which is my preference) It's also cheaper then the MH-400.

Really, it's up to you.. But I advise you to ignore the MH-250 cause it's not worth the price you pay for it.

I myself am looking at a couple of Ibanez models with locking trems. Definitely talk to folks in the store about hwo to set it up properly, in fact they might even show you how to do it. =D
