Focusrite Saffire PRO 24

So I searched, and the last thread about this kinda trailed off with a whimper.

Does anyone have any updated experiences with the Saffire PRO 24?

I was considering this or a Profire 610 as they both seem to do what I need. Have heard the Focusrite pre's rule but the Profire 2626 seems to be popular right now and the 610 seems roughly like a smaller, stripped-down version.

I've been using a Saffire Pro 40 for the past few months.
It's awesome.

I have one, haven't had any problems with it. Drivers seem great in windows 7. Low latency, good enough preamps, solid build, looks kinda cool.

I don't think you could go wrong with either a pro 24 or the profire 610. If you can afford the 2626 I'd probably get that, though, just for futureproofness.

I have the 56. It kicks loads of ass so far. Company haven't caused me any grief yet!

I've got the DSP version, definitely a solid unit for the price. I can't compare it to other hardware since this is my first, but I haven't got a complaint yet.

Do you mean futureproofness just in terms of i/os? Or was there some other meaning I'm too green to pick up on?
