Thoughts on Focusrite Saffire PRO 14?

Hey what' up!
I am considering getting a new Audio Interface. The Focusrite Saffire PRO 14 seems like a really good one, so I was wondering if any of you have had any experience with it? Also, if you have a good advice on an audio interface for me, just write down .

I have it and i love it. I had the lexicon omega and another neginner Interface.
They sucked due to the driver issues. The omega even had warmth Problems.
The pro 14 was just plug n play. So good. I cant judge the sound quality other than saying its good to my ears and the latency is low.

Hey, as far as I know, it comes with a software for mixing, and I was wondering if it always runs with it? I mean, is there any way to use the interface without that software? Like, when I am running the interface with cubase and I am recording a guitar or something like that, I really dont want that program to be open, you understand?

No you don't need to have it open. Its a standalone app that you can open but I've never had to use it on mine.

well i dont know about this one. but for their pre-amps/compressor, they are really unrelaibale. mine has gone dead for three times now, and the one in the studio also has connection problems
