here in the office I resort to an electric water boiler ... and use instant coffee ... I drink decaf anyway, so no big whoop ...

i am not sure how well that coffee gets dorian ... a coffee maker actually brews the coffee, doesn't just heat water and pour it over it.

it's a funnel i found in the kitchen. the filters my wife bought that dont fit the (broken) coffee maker fit perfectly into the funnel. it's the same system NAD uses. he posted pics of it in my coffee thread awhile back.

... point is that method does not get the full flavor of the coffee out ... if you pour the hot water over it, it basically goes right through without taking the full flavor along ... unless you sit there and drip it over
