My friends band Ski-Pi is gigging at the Lions Den cafe on the 10th of March starting at 6:15pm. Thought I'd let u's know cos they are a great band. I know the lead guitarist, and he is a big SymX fan and can play any song as good as mjr can. Btw, there will be a 20 minute epic . If anyone wants a preview I have a midi of an awesome half finished song and an mp3 of an old song though its not that great quality (but still awesome).

No not that I know of. But I guess when they make it big they will. I'll try and find that mp3 I had and put it on a file server.

Its their 1st gig so i think they'll take what they can get, lol. After 6 years of perfecting their art I know i'll be there to hear what they got.

Yeh I'm going. I'll be the guy with the long hair in the opeth shirt, lol. Nah the shirt I will get on the night cos I dont have one . A terrible thing happened though....one of my friends lost his ticket :s, so yeh mine is being carfully guarded cos of that.

wOOt!!! I went to the gig last night....and it was actually at 10 which was a much better time. My friend travis who is lead guitarist/singer came on stage dressed as jesus wearing just a loincloth and thorns around his head . So yeh it was absolutely insane and the best music I have ever heard. I'm still not sure wheter I like them more than SymX, but its very close. The whole set was pretty much one big guitar solo, which was cool, but the rest of the instruments were just as good. Trav smashed his guitar at the end, lol.

I havent been able to get the last song out of my head cos it was so awesome, and the guitaring was just inspirational. Some ppl (like arjen lucassen ) would probably give up guitar forever if they saw what I saw. When someone goes on stage drunk and plays better than everyone in the room combined, well that just makes me try a whole lot harder.
