For those who like more mixing practice. This song is the title track from our full-cd 'Once More' we released earlyer this year. Difference with the already released version is that drums are fully programmed here, and i retracked the guitartracks. Tho i am not the tightest guitarist, it sounds better in my opinion the original one. Bass and Vox are still the original recorded ones.
The guitars are tracked with a Ibanez RGD420Z with a Seymour Duncan Distortion on the bridge into Radial J48. Bass is a Ibanez SR700 i think, wich went into the Profire 2626 DI (didnt own the Radial back then). For the Vocals i used the AT 2035 into the GAP pre-73.

Cool.
Thanks for sharing.
I will have a look at this when I get a chance.
Trying to decide on a bridge Duncan for my ESP Eclipse.
Thinking custom, custom custom or distortion so it will great to hear the distortion in action.

Here goes my version.
I loved song VERY MUCH but... vocal! That distortion ruined for me chance to make it brutal on my own. For me that was distorted too much and second vocal series I really couldn't stand in mix - those extra harmonies ruined all clarity from vocal.
I would be pleased if you allow me to put it on my portfolio (Of course mentioning that it is my mix version and crediting you and your band. But would like to know your name and maybe you have your studio web page?)
I'm asking because I won't get so skilled and brutal musician clients at my place for long time.

keep em coming, tho i still didnt heard one slay my mix, then again ofc this for you guys to learn the stuff, just like i am still doing. If you want to put in on your portofolio, its ok, do mention also this isnt the actual mix from the cd, and like us facebook, headlining bands actually check that shit, we need more :loco:

OK done some fixing with bass guitar, Hope it sound way better now.
HERE

Joelegend, listening your mix - guitars got really telephony sound around 700 - 900hz. Was that OK?
