Hahah, one of my friends just told me thats her paycheck, and i remember that tipping thread with some of you assholes saying you don't tip anyone, and wondered why it was needed.

Obviously, you don't leave a tip, or just a penny, if you receive horrible service. Or a subpar tip for subpar service. But for the folks who never tip, they can get fucked. I usually tip 20-30% but I have a softspot for it I suppose because my mom was a waitress the entire time while raising me and my sister solely. Plus, the fact that I worked in a restaurant, in the kitchen regardless, for 6 years.

Right on. I've tipped girls $10 for $20 meals sometimes just because they're really friendly and awesome to talk to. Some service is just fucking shameful though...
