I wonder if the finnish sub-forum of this board goes the same way?

Hmm. Well, not as much. There's hardly any discussion at all, but when there is, about half is off-topic and half is about CoB, I'd say.

You have a good point there, but as we've discussed earlier on the board, cobadmin hasn't "disappereared". He's doing his military service, for christ's sake!

We need an administrator, that's for sure, who is here often and delete useless threads etc. tells the people how to behave!!
And what we also need is a sub-forum (Off-Topic), where everybody can discuss with other CoB Fans about any shitty or not shitty things! Than everybody is satisfied, I'm sure!
For example Sonata Arctica had a forum at UM and now its own (php-Forum on there own HP) with strict but good rules! Look: http://www.sonataarctica.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=2

And I really can't get the aspect that all these off-topic-creation-members (or post-hunting-"my dick is bigger when I have more posts"-members) are here and insult Zarok or bodomic! YOU are the reason why the forum is no longer offical! Shame on you!

yes but most of the old sonata arctica's forum regulars here on um were slightly more touchy than a 15-year-old bespectacled girl in a room full of drunken sailors. and like i said, that's hardly the band's fault at all.

the forum is no longer official because the poor mod had to serve in the army. the fact that now everyone takes a shot at his/her personal nemesis is actually the only sad thing i've seen around here.
and i don't think cob would have preferred a board where people refrained from posting in order not to give in to arrogance or false pride. however, if it makes you feel better, i feel a sudden rush of catholic guilt every time i post a new message on um.

Sometimes I go to the board and in the row with the last posts stands the name of only one person! These guys just want post in every thread, however it's usefull or not, and these are the guys I meant! This spamming is not necessary! In the German-Thread some people think they must post a "Porn" or a "norisk arisk black metal arrrgghhh" or whatever from time to time! Why the hell, why?

Back to the topic!:
When will we get the off-topic-sub-forum?

Sub forums are needed here, some kind of order must arrive at this board. Maybe we could talk to Mark and everybody would be satisfied?

Believe it or not, but it would be nice to have divided spam and cob related threads in different sub-forums. Lets talk to Mark and maybe a thing can be done in this matter.
