Fostex PM1 Mk II - Any thoughts?

Hi guys

Looking to get some new active monitors.

Pretty much narrowed it down to Fostex PM1 Mk IIs or Alesis One Mk IIs.

Anyone had any experience with the Fostex?

the monitor one MKIIs are great for the price, however the difference between the active and passive is unreal! and id reccomend the passive over the two, the fostex ones are decent enough. haha my mate chose the alesis active ones over the fostex caus of the LED light colour

Awesome monitors, I´ve got a pair. For that range of prices htey are a secure bet. One thing, they are heavey ass a cow...well made, consistent low end and articulate highs.

If you get the Alesis ones, be sure to plug the ports. Very flubby sounding otherwise

I have a pair of fostex PM1's (mk1). Very tight bass, farrr from boomy, nice high end. All round solid monitor only beaten by the competition cus they look pretty dull. New one looks better but dunno how it sounds.
