FS: Custom Impulses

Wibi, I do not own a bass cabinet, but I may be making bass cabinet impulses in the future.

Marcus, they're pretty cool. They're different, which is what I'm after. They are nice and fat with a cool kind of sizzle. I'll do some reamps with them soon. Theyre almost identical to Celestion Classic 80s (long out of production), but with a higher power handling and a vent in the back.

Thanks for the luck; I'm going to need it!

Hey Greg! Great to see you extending your services and some juicy impulses are just what I need.
Any chance of a price list?
Sorry to go a bit off topic, but I've never used impulses with my Krank Rev Jr, what exactly do I gotta do? I know I'll have to keep the cab connected, will I still have to drive it pretty loud?

If your amp has a master volume that is part of the power section, or a "post volume," you won't need that at all. ON a related note, if you're sending the effects send into your interface, there will be no preamp signal going to the power amp, hence no noise aside from whatever the noise floor is. If you have a preamp out, you just keep the head connected with the master real low, and then run the preamp out into your interface.

Prices are on a project to project basis. They start at $100.00 for a custom impulse that will work for YOUR mixing style and tone.

Cheers for the info Greg!
I'm at work at the mo, but I think the Krank Rev Jr has got a line out and FX send...so I'm guessing I'll have to keep the cab connected no matter which output I use, correct?
I wanna try the Krank with your beta impulse and if I like what I hear...:worship:

Yessir. The only amps I know of that you don't need to connect a cab for silent recording are some Engls. I still wouldn't risk it. It won't be making any noise if you use the effects send, BUT it will if you use the line out... so use the effects send unless you want to monitor through the amp.

Cheers Greg! I tend to play more heavy rock, but I can't always crank the amp up loud when I want to record. Ampsims can only get me about 70% of the way there - looking forward to hearing what the Krank sounds like through your beta impulse. I'll do some comparisons between yours and some of the other impulses I have and report back my honest opinion.

I will buy your impulse in the future, great tone!

ASEM RECTO V30 L2 is an awesome impulse, best i've ever heard \m/ It is a pity that I have no money now, but in the future for sure i buy it!
