Yes, I did. The G12 EVHs were sold; they are identical to the Heritage Greenbacks in have in my Stone Age cabinet.
I'm not interested in giving someone 1000 impulses with 950 of them being worthless like some impulse makers do.

If your amp has a master volume that is part of the power section, or a "post volume," you won't need that at all. ON a related note, if you're sending the effects send into your interface, there will be no preamp signal going to the power amp, hence no noise aside from whatever the noise floor is. If you have a preamp out, you just keep the head connected with the master real low, and then run the preamp out into your interface.
Prices are on a project to project basis. They start at $100.00 for a custom impulse that will work for YOUR mixing style and tone.
Yessir. The only amps I know of that you don't need to connect a cab for silent recording are some Engls. I still wouldn't risk it. It won't be making any noise if you use the effects send, BUT it will if you use the line out... so use the effects send unless you want to monitor through the amp.
Wibi, I do not own a bass cabinet, but I may be making bass cabinet impulses in the future.
Marcus, they're pretty cool. They're different, which is what I'm after. They are nice and fat with a cool kind of sizzle. I'll do some reamps with them soon. Theyre almost identical to Celestion Classic 80s (long out of production), but with a higher power handling and a vent in the back.
Thanks for the luck; I'm going to need it!
here is a clip of the Goddamn-greg impulse that Greg did.
Had to record with headphones though so I don't wake the baby, It's my Axe Fx and the impulse. No effects or eq added after.
