I have been jamming along to some tracks here using this free sample impulse and a/b comparing it with other impulses. It sounds really good.

As stated by some one else, bass impulses of this quality would also rule.

Sorry to go a bit off topic, but I've never used impulses with my Krank Rev Jr, what exactly do I gotta do? I know I'll have to keep the cab connected, will I still have to drive it pretty loud?

you'll want to use the line out with the rev jr...but it's important to note that the level of the line out is related to the level of the master, so you'll still have to get pretty loud in order to get a usable tone!

I'm also thinking about doing my impulse pack WITHOUT letting anyone know what gear was used. I think it will actually help people find "their tone" better instead of making brand name associations.

I'll just have names for the impulses like: Palmageddon, Tremorlo... silly things like that. I also want to be relatively elusive when it comes to spilling my secrets out

By the way, if I want a custom impulse, how does the process work (creating the impulse)? Do I tell you what kind of tone I'm after and then you try to replicate it or create something similiar?
