His point is normal tickets are 50 bucks. VIP tickets are 100 bucks. The benefit of the VIP tickets is you don't have to go there at 8 in the morning to get barrier because you're let in first, get signed shit without having to wait outside for hours, and probably a shirt.
If you buy a normal 50 dollar ticket and shirt which will probably be $32, you're spending just as much.
Also, with a show that is def. gonna sell out, the venues like to pay for more security that night, bathroom attendants, etc., which all ups the price. When I saw Manowar, tickets were 50 bucks because the venue knew it was gonna sell out.
Stop complaining and fucking deal with it if you really like the band.

meet the band? take pictures with the band? seriously who cares about meeting "a band". Are they going to stand behind a fence and take moderated pictures with "fans" who payed the $100?
