I go beyond redline at least once a day, and hit over 100mph at least once a week.fotmbm said:How often do you fellas max out your cars to use all those flashy numbers?

I knew a dude who was a salesman for Cintas, he drove an '89 Civic. His boss told him to get a new ride.lurch70 said:and gugs, this is another crazy thing, but I am sure you agree with me on it, especially as a salesman.
what you pull up with when seeing a client, makes an intangible difference on how successful you come across and in some weird ways can help close sales. I think I know what I mean ... you might dismiss it, but think about it.
The SAAB even is a far more "mature" car so to speak then a Civic.

My guess is that I drive faster more often than most of you and use what torque my saab has more than you pushed that BMW back in the day.
fotmbm drives like a fucking maniac, i swear he's been up to 120 mph with that god damn saab and it's not even a particularly powerful carMadeInNewJersey said:This I guarantee is not the case.![]()
a working stereo is also crucial, but totally agreed otherwise...as long as everything functions reliably, i'm satisfiedConspicuously Absent said:hehe. my stance on cars is I want the cheapest hunk of junk I can get, as long as its cheap on gas and runs reliably.
