Well yeah, I already have that. :loco: But every so often the 6 albums in check do not interest me, and I have to scurry through my glovebox searching for something to whet the appetite of thy ears, and try not to run over more cats than usual in the process.

I've had audio controls on the steering wheel of each of the past 2 cars I've owned (the BMW and my current Saab), it controls all aspects of the radio, CD player/changer, volume, etc. This Honda even controls the iPod. For someone who drives as much as I do, it's a "must" feature.
 
reminds me of the "old blue truck" we had when I was little. Some 70s ford truck. One time driving into town, the roof peeled back off the cab. So we got into town, went ot the mechanic (who we knew) and he spent an hour welding a patch to hold it in place :p

Another time the floor fell out of the truck (and all the garbage on it) and we had to get that replaced. :P

In my old big grey Yota thing I had giant mirrors on the doors, one day just driving down the road I hear CLANG!!! and check my side mirror to see what caused it, and it wasn't there. Turned around, jumped out and grabbed my mirror, and was on my way.

I miss that truck because it had holes in the floor and during the rain water would get up in there, under the carpet, and would make the whole cab smell like a festering corpse. Yet chicks still loved it.
 
Ok, so I'm NOT getting a Honda.

Went to the dealership and was fed a line about "the Si is very hard to get, we have to order them" and people pay upwards of a $1600 markup (could be the truth, the Odyssey minivan was impossible to get for nearly 5 years).

Anyway, the car as I wanted it was $22,700 + $1,600 = $24,300. For a 3 year, 15k/year lease w/ nothing down except out-of-pockets, it was $465/month. I :lol: in the guy's face. My credit is "tier 3" they tell me, which is decent, not superb (I knew this going in). With the best credit rating possible, the car still would have been $425/month.

Insanity.

Scratch Honda from the list.
 
hahahahaha dude I just had a vision of you drunk driving in a Honda Insight through Manhattan, screaming and yelling and trying to light your farts on fire hanging your ass out the window, going about 17mph. Pretty cool.
 
sheeeeit! 5 pages for a thread started this afternoon? i dont have time to read the whole thing but i was gonna say i second gugs with the civic thing until i read his last post haha
the new civic is a wonderful car. i want to get me an LX sedan. ill have to sell the miata and its leaky top first though.
the second car on my list is a subaru impreza wagon. little more expensive than the civic but has obvious cargo advantages and whatnot
 
Oh man, if two more RC idiots get a Slubaru I shall declare it THE OFFICIAL CAR OF THE RC. And that we're all lesbians, TOGETHER.
