It was the only decision that would not have backfired in their face. Though, I was enjoying the hell out of watching them play in the elements.

Definite backfire, granted, this is exactly what the rays needed. First hand account from my uncle tells me a group of rays fans in his section at the stadium started screaming "DELAY IT NOW! DELAY IT NOW!" when the RBI occured. He also says that the rain didn't change at all since the top of the 4th, and that it should have just been called a no game then.

Though, personally, everyone and their mother saw the forecasts this morning and evening for that game and knew it was going to rain the second it started. The fact that the game even went on as scheduled just baffles me.

Something just doesn't feel right about "ok, let's let this game go until the rays score one." If anything, the game should just be wiped and restarted when it can to make it fair. Even as a phillies fan I find it unfair for the phillies and rays to start off fresh with the phillies getting 1 extra at bat on fresh players.

And even then, the phillies lost their ace pitcher, since his arm will be spent for 2-3 days, so maybe things will be a little more fair.

Either way. Fuck this.

Yeah, was forced to get one. Infiniti G20 early 90's. It's about as reliable as an NFL referee. But, this model has a key dongle thingy that has the panic alarm and the ability to unlock a door (no locking of the doors for some reason)...

I got it for cheap and I'm starting to think that it's actually 3 different G20's put together.

Oh well, as long as I get to work (the bus that I needed to take got cut).
