no, seriously, I'm proud of being swedish, as we managed to play this great, with none of our top players (they are all in Detroit)
and football is the best sport EVAR.

Actually the best ones are in Washington (Bäckström) and Vancouver (Sedins)
I like Omark and think he's incredibly fun to watch, but sometimes he's a bit too selfish, like he's trying to make future "classic" goals instead of just making goals. When he stops doing that and just starts using his skills to score he'll be a great player.
And sure World Championships are a kind of lottery, basically the country with most NHL players in beaten teams is the best, but whatever, it's at least still fun to watch.
Anyway, Canada tomorrow, personally I don't think we'll win, but I hope so.

The IIHF world championship is a second-rate tournament. Still looking forward to watching Canada waste Sweden this afternoon, but the real show will be in the Olympics next year.

Wow Russia - Usa, what a game it was, Usa almost scored in the last minute, but Russia always wins even if they're not the better team for some reason. I agree it's a second rate tournament but it's hard for us to watch Stanley Cup for natural reasons so it still has some status in Europe. And there's still some top players that are fun to watch, like Ilya Kovalchuk, Jaromir Jagr, Dustin Brown and a few others.
