One sound that has become immensely popular is to mix Gothenburg melodic death metal, popularized by more traditional metal bands such as At the Gates, and In Flames and newer bands such as Children of Bodom, together with a more traditional metalcore sound and occasionally slow, melodic breakdowns.

It's calling COB a traditional metal band, not a metalcore band.

The combination of that and what Gav just posted in Why Was My Thread Deleted? is just too much for me right now.

it would be funny if all emo bands where banned for having guitars with sharp edges just in case they felt the need to kill themself. so no bc rich guitars or jacksons for them haha.
