Anyway, funeral doom escapes boredom when its neither drowned in synths nor a two-notes-per-minute affair. Shape of Despair make a stunning job, Tyranny is sweet. Monolithe, while not "funeral doom" all the way, are the most original of the lot, if you can stand 50-minutes tracks that is.
