i used to play much younger. now i get bored immediately. with almost everything. past couple of years i only play colin mcrae 2 and championship manager. both for pc. i don't own and cannot afford a console. it's a big waste of money anyways. them oldies simulators are pretty cool tho.

I've only played IL2sturmovik:FB for the last year. I dunno how many games i have that i played for a day and left alone after that, mafia, viet cong etc etc
But deusx 2 is out this christmas which should remind ppl why consoles are for kiddies

I only buy games that I really enjoy, I consider the other ones as a free trial, and if I like it I buy it.
I've actually been thinking of getting myself another book. The one I've got is The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and it's great! What I'm looking for now is a book about programming, have seen some in the bookstores, so I guess I'll get one when I've got some spare money.

man, where do u live and that? A consol can cost tenth of a decent PC! And it has no relation to buying or not reading books. (In fact, books are expensive..) And this being bored.. do u have midlife crisis? Well.. probably your avatar is not a coincidence..sol83 said:
i had an amiga at first, eventually got a SNES but finally stuck to pc games. you just don't have a keyboard on consoles. games like operation flashpoint and the like just need one, no matter how much buttons these awful controllers have.

i can remember only prince of persia. my favourites were bubble bobble, monkey island I, master of magic and pirates!.

prince of persia was great, i think there was a really difficult bit at something like level, um 8 or was it later like 12, monkey island was great too, one of those games that were just arse exploding, 11 floppy disks it came on, ha

by the way, how much does a console game cost and how much does a pc game cost (which i can also get it copied)? do the math. consoles are for 15 year olds. GET A BOOK!
