final fantasy vii will always have my favourite soundtrack by MILES, but all the FF games up to 9 had cool music to some extent. the castlevania music is great, as is the soundtrack for shadow of colossus. others:

It was an awesome tune, though. Mad epic.
And there were a couple - the combat theme, for example.
But yeah, not much of a soundtrack overall.

Yeah, I knew there were a few battle themes, but the main one plays most of the time anyway. Like you said, it's a damn good tune, but it gets old.

The Banjo Kazooie soundtrack was pretty good. Corny as hell, though.

Every game on the NES, espicially Power Blade and Turrican.

Also Doom music rocks.
