Because once you've completed the game and become a high ranking near demigod, the guards still mouth you off.
That's true...I do resent that. The game does have flaws (no children, no bathrooms, not as much to do as in Morrowind, less backstory + plot, talking thing gets old fast, high system requirements, and people don't really seem to notice your accomplishments except to talk about them conspicuously in your presence once, etc), but the awesomeness far outweighs the suck.
Did anyone try the talking sword mod? I thought it was excellent.

No.
NVN (the only one I've played) is fun, but it's not a very adult game. Constantly reminds you you're playing a computer version of a game for nerds. No immersion, sucky graphics, etc...fun game, but nowhere near as good as Morrowind or Oblivion.

I'm pretty sure that oblivion is stupid. Devouring the soul of the god of the dead or fighting hordes of invading undead armies is way cooler then whatever you do in oblivion. And as a bonus the spells in NWN are way cooler.
Not if you're smart enough to make a suit of chameleon armor. Then you can kill them all and fuck around with their corpses.
How come your guy is so weak? You can kill a dude with one blow of your sword, but then using the z key you can't drag his corpse 2 feet.
EDIT: NInja'd. And making your own spells is the coolest.

I never really liked NWN. Never really got into Oblivion...
Since i played Baldur's Gate and Counter-Strike 1.6, all other games seem weak in comparison. Which is strange, because CS 1.6 is SOOOO flawed...But i loved it anyway. BG is perfection incarnate, however.
