Gamers Thread

I still haven't played any of the Silent Hill games. Need to fix that. The latest installment is quite lacking from what I read.

Incredible games. Silent Hill 2 is incredible. It is easily one of the most terrifying video games I've ever played. The atmosphere in all of the games are untouchable.

But Silent Hill 4: The Room is pretty fucking bland. Don't even bother wasting your money on that.

Whatever. I'll get this if I ever get a next-gen console. I find the games have been fun, but I'm extremely tired of society's gangster fetishization. I don't get it. People are like "I want to be a rebel and a total badass, but only in a framework where I'm completely subserviant to someone and there are still plenty of rules to follow."

Yeah, gone are the days when only a few could say "damn it feels good to be a gangsta"

Seriously though, what do you mean? Like, saying you want to rebel and then conforming to a "rebellious" group?
I just hated San Andreas for its style; hopefully I can give the new one a chance.
I didn't mind the style. Although tbh, I stopped playing the missions pretty early on and just started terrorizing the city instead. It was fun to fuck with the city with a nig whose face was covered by a black bandanna.

Hopefully GTA IV comes out on comp, and soon...and hopefully it works with my comp but I doubt it.

Of all the GTA games, I definitely had most fun with GTA III when it came out.

Hm, GTA 4 seems a bit different. Like there is a reason why things are the way they are, and the main character actually as a conscience. I like it for what it is. Which is a GTA game. And a better GTA game than VC and SA at that.

The controls are quite sluggish and the Xbox controller in general is just horrible.

You fail.
