Finished Final Fantasy XII. Piece of cake. When you're over-leveled, it's no challenge at all. I still haven't completed a few of the later Rank VII hunts and a couple of side-quests; maybe some other time.

Any recommendations for similar RPGs on the PS2(besides Dragon Quest)?

How long did that game take?
I'm stuck at floor 65 of the lighthouse - not wanting to do the really boring training. About 60-odd hours in. How much longer do I have to go?

You mean that Pharos tower? I don't recall any training needed to be done. Anyway, if you're there already, it's the last dungeon of the game. It's pretty long though, definitely the longest. You need to get up to the 100th floor. I used a walkthrough for it; the place is very confusing. After that, you're off to the final location, with all the boss fights.

The whole game took me about 145 hours(when I said I started playing, I was well into it already.)

Yeah...not particularly highly leveled.
Are you serious about it being the last dungeon?
Oh shit. I'm almost done...woa.

Does anyone play Rise Of Nations? It's fairly old but a kickass strategy game.

I used to play that game all the time and really it was quite fucking awesome. The only part about that game I didn't particularly like is that when you advanced all your tech to the modern age the game devolved into chaos (at least it did for me), micromanaging all those resources in addition to keeping track of land, sea, and air units and turrets and nuclear weapons was just too much for me to handle. That's why I preferred to play up until only certain ages so that the game would be easier to keep up with.

Yeah, late game dissolved into chaos. Civilization 3 does that too.

Anyone ever play Knights Of Honor? Fantastic game.

You're almost done. The rest of the way is not that hard. Try to remember the order of the colors on your way up. There are a few spots where you need to spam curaja on the undead. Overall it's not too bad. Much easier finding your way around than the Great Crystal. The final level only gets challenging at the very end of the final boss. I died there once. Overall it's not too bad if you have good gear and gambits.

The last few hunts and espers can be really hard. I was in the 80s or 90s for the last few. Zodiark was probably the toughest.

I haven't been leveling balthier, fran, and ashe, tbh...they're all under 20. Vaan, Basche, and Penelo are around 60...I only use balthier & co for quickenings.

Quickenings are fun, but honestly, in the late stages of the game they're mostly detrimental and pretty ineffective .Once you have potent spells at your disposal, that is. I only used them to vanquish a foe with style.:) The MP boost you get for acquiring each is definitely a plus, though.
Did you use any Espers at all during the game? I found them all pretty useless most of the time(I've only acquired 10, though)
