Gamers, what are your decisions?

I like the genre. It makes you look from the inside looking out rather than the outside looking in, if you catch my drift. I used to be a huge FPS gamer until I realize RPGs are my favorite genre.

If you are looking for an FPS with some pizazz, check out Mirror's Edge. It's a great game and a big breath of fresh air.

+1

Me too (but I love the old SNES, Genesis & PS1,2 ones with 2D graphics, as Phantasy Star, Breath of fire or Suikoden).

I just play wii music...oh my fuckin god:) Why Nintendo still use this awful midi sound ?? But I love it to play the Zelda hymn with a sitar..that´s like a small dream comin true for me:) Serious..it´s a pleasent contrast to Fallout 3. Nintendo fans are lucky with it..small children, too. But all others will hate this casual game..I think.

I love living with two housemates who buy a shitload of games; I can just play theirs while I buy gear! :heh: Though I definitely will be getting Gears 2.

I'm not really up on games these days. I gave them up about 10 years ago because I just didn't have time for it, but I went out and bought a PS3 several weeks ago for some crazy reason....

I played through Metal Gear Solid 4 and had a great time with it. Now I must be entering a second childhood or something because I want to play video games now....:)

I might be destroying my cred, but the most fun I've had was playing "Skate". (I was a skater in the 80's / early 90's). So the game I'm most looking forward to is "Skate 2".

Hahahhaahaaa, what a profound description for such retarded snooze-fests like Halo, Chris

You say that as if Halo is the FPS spokes person. :(

Half-Life 2 would be more accurate as a snooze-fest.

WE GET IT VALVE, YOUR PHYSICS ENGINE IS AWESOME!!! STOP MAKING US DO SEE-SAW PUZZLES.!!!

P.S.: I love Half-Life 2.

Í don't know how I managed to get through fallout III in 15 hours. I thought I wasn't focusing on the main campaign too much until the credits started. just started with a new character today. :)

Man, I had real problems with games back in the day. I just had to play a game start to finish as fast as possible. I was unemployed at the time so it wasnt so bad but had to play all day long. GTA: San Andreas, Hitman: Contracts & Blood Money, The Godfather, Splinter cell etc.. ahh good times :Smug: . But absolutely the best game of all times that i've played is Mafia. Such a great story from start to finish. I'm probably buying a new game console any day soon so here we go again..

Any Company of Heroes fans here? I have to say that nothing has impressed me nearly as much since that game came out. I'm not even a big RTS guy, but holy hell did they get it right there. I still play it with friends regularly.

Left4Dead is a cool one too, but really when you get past all the bullshit, it's just a CS mod and should be priced and packaged accordingly. I don't think it'll have the longevity to last.

Moonlapse you're the man. I am a huge Company of Heroes fan. My favourite RTS at the moment. What is your ID so I can add you to my list?

+1.000000000000

Loved it. It was the first RTS that I really enjoyed since Red Alert 2 and Starcraft :)

For me, it does. I've already played the demo, which is 2 levels out of about 25, for upwards of 5 hours.

So many console gamers, so little time...

I officially declare that playing shooters on anything but a keyboard and mouse is like fucking with your pants zipped.
